Marine Conservation Officer - Kavieng Office
Tracey Boslogo is WCS Marine Conservation Officer. She graduated from University of Papua New Guinea in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Geography and Chemistry and has worked with WCS since 2016.
Uali Mulavo Kula
Shark and Ray Research Assistant - Kavieng Office
Since his appointment with WCS in 2019, Uali has been involved himself in the deployment of baited remote underwater visual sensors (BRUVS), fisher’s key informant surveys, and provided awareness to communities about the biology and management of shovelnose rays and sawfish. Prior to this, he completed his degree in Fisheries and Marine Resources in 2014, and worked both as a Technical Officer and Extension Officer with Ailan Awareness and the University of Natural Resources and Environment Fisheries department, and with other government organisations.
Yvonne Wong
Community Engagement Officer - Kavieng Office
Yvonne Wong is a community engagement officer in the Kavieng office, who leads and ensures field engagement is undertaken following Free and Prior Informed Consent processes and other WCS guidelines. Yvonne also provides supervision to 17 community facilitators, who are responsible for maintaining community relations between WCS and the communities we are working with. She obtained a Diploma in Fisheries and Marine Resources in 2016 from the University of Natural Resources and Environment. She has worked with WCS since 2017, first for the Manus program and then the New Ireland program.
